Visit of the Troyan Monastery: founded in late 15th century but the present church was built in 1835. The frescoes were painted by Zahari Zograf; the icon stand of carved wood is a real masterpiece and a product of carvers from Tryavna. Plovdiv-Rila-Sofia
Departure to Rila Monastery: World Heritage. Founded in the 10th century by the Bulgarian monk St. John of Rila. The Monastery stood abandoned for a short time in the 15th century Bulgaria fell to the Ottoman Turks. Later that same century it came to life again and was later restores in the 19th century. Arrival in Sofia. Overnight.

Sofia: panoramic city tour with visits to the Boyana Church (World Heritage date from 1259 and which the frescos are the best of their kind in Europe) and the National Museum of History for enjoying the treasure from Panagiurishte (4th century BC) and the Hall of the Thracian Treasures.
