Breakfast. Panoramic of Plovdiv. Lunch in the Old Town. Visit to Bachkovo Monastery (the second most important after Rila Monastery. Dinner at restaurant Paldin, one of the most famous in the city. Overnight in Plovdiv. |
6th Day |
Breakfast. Departure to Kazanlak, the capital of the Rose Valley. Visit of the Museum of the Rose and the Thracian Tomb (included in UNESCO’s World Heritage). Visit of the Memorial Russian Church in Shipka. By the way visit of the Etara. Lunch there. Continuation to Veliko Tarnovo, the ancient capital of the II Bulgarian Kingdom. Overnight and dinner at Veliko Tarnovo. Accommodation at Hotel Yantra 4* or similar. |
7th Day |
Breakfast. Panoramic of Arbanassi (the ancient summer residence of the Bulgarian kings) and Veliko Tarnovo. Lunch. Visit of the Tsarevets Fortress. Dinner. At night: “Lights and sound”show: the history of Bulgaria with laser rays and medieval music as background. |
8th Day |
Breakfast. Departure to the city of Rousse on the Danube river in the border with Romania. City tour and lunch there. Departure to Romania in the afternoon. Meet the Romanian guide and bus at Rousse. Transfer to Sinaia. Stop-over at Snagov to visit the monastery. In the monastery is the tomb of Vlad Tepes (Dracula). Dinner and accommodation in hotel International 4 stars. |

Breakfast. Visit of Peles Castle. Free time for discover the parc and the gardens. Departure to Brasov. Lunch and visit the old part of the city. Dinner and accommodation in Poiana Brasov-Hotel Piatra Mare 4 stars. |

Breakfast. Departure to Cluj Napoca. Visit of the Museum of Wood. Departure to Tihuta. Stop-over to admire the wonderful panorama of the Carpatians. Bistrita: lunch and visit the city centre with its 15th century houses. Cluj Napoca (The Square of Freedom and the Catholique Church of Saint Michael). Free time. Breakfast. Departure to Sibiu. Alba Iulia ancient Dacian citadel . Sibiel: visit to the picturesque church of the village (1765) and of the Museum of icons painted on glass. Lunch in peasant houses. Sibiu, one of the oldest cities of Romania, Episcopal centre of the Lutheran Church. Panoramic of the city. Dinner and accommodation at hotel Continental 3 stars. |
14 th Day |
Breakfast. Departure to Bucharest. Following the pictursque Olt Valley with a stop-over to visit Cozia Monastery foundedn in 1386 we get to Bucharest. City Tour. Dinner with folk show at Casa Alba Restaurante. Accommodation at Sofitel 4 stars. |
15th Day |
Breakfast. Visit to the Palace of Parliament, the 2nd biggest building in the world. Lunch and transfer to the airport. |
